Differences Between Botox® and Dysport®
There are a few slight differences when comparing these two neuromodulators. Botox® was first approved by the FDA in 1989 and Dysport® did not get approval until 2009. Since Botox® has been on the market a lot longer, it is often more commonly used, but depending on your aesthetic needs, Dysport may be more appropriate. During your consultation with our team, we will evaluate your visible signs of aging and help you determine the best way to achieve smoother, younger-looking skin with Botox® and Dysport®.
Botox and Dysport can be safely and effectively used to help reduce the appearance of:
- Eyes (Crows feet)
- Eyebrows (11 lines)
- Nose (Bunny lines)
- Angles of the mouth (Marionette lines)
- Upper lip (Smoker lines)
- Gummy smile
